Position Description:
| Springfield College School of Human Services, a multi-campus program with a mission to provide broadly accessible, affordable higher education in human services to adult learners, supported by the principles of community partnership and academic excellence to achieve social and economic justice, is seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of part-time faculty at the Charleston, SC campus. Classes of the School are held two weekends each month for students seeking either a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Human Services degree. The interdisciplinary applied curriculum focuses on social analysis, critical thinking, communication skills, and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will have an earned doctoral degree in one of the following or related disciplines: Human Services; Addictions Counseling; Nonprofit Management; Clinical Psychology; Public Administration; Sociology.

Position Qualifications:
| The successful candidate will teach/facilitate the equivalency of three courses per term, advise students, and assume other related administrative duties. Weekend and evening work is required. Candidates should have expertise and demonstrated success in one or more of the following areas: student services, faculty development and support, curriculum development, and community partnership building. In addition, the candidates should have practical work experience in working with diverse group of adults within an educational setting. Prior experience teaching/facilitating learning in the online environment is highly desirable.
