Technical Support Analyst
Springfield College’s Technology Solutions Center is accepting applications for a Technical Support Analyst. This position is part of a team responsible for providing technical support to Students, Faculty and Staff. Additional responsibilities include: identifying and resolving end-user technical issues; implementing and supporting end-user solutions; researching technology, communicating results and applying findings to meet end-user requirements. All support efforts will be delivered in a professional, courteous manner with the intention of providing the highest level of customer service possible.
The successful candidate will possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent certifications and knowledge experience with three years related experience in computer technologies; or the equivalent in combined education and experience. Candidates with a degree in computer disciplines and an ITIL background are preferred. Effective communications skills with the ability to work in a team environment, take direction, follow procedures and implement solutions. Extensive knowledge of Windows 7 and Mac OS is expected of all candidates. Candidates should exhibit strengths with hardware/software installation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of desktop, laptop and mobile devices. Experience with remote desktop management, desktop encryption and malware issues resolution; and have general knowledge of wired and wireless networking concepts in relation to desktop troubleshooting.
