Under direct supervision of the Director of Student Volunteers responsibilities for this position include: clerical and administrative support for the director, graduate associates, AmeriCorps members and student employees; will serve as primary receptionist for the office; assist with and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, memos, scheduling, filing, data management, and work with several significant projects. Perform other tasks as required or requested by the supervisor.
This position requires the knowledge equivalent to that gained through completion of a high school diploma and a minimum of four years directly related, progressively responsible experience; or the equivalent in combined education and experience. Proficiency working in a Microsoft Office based environment, familiarity with Jenzebar, and PrideNet. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive, mature manner.
