| Springfield College School of Social Work, a CSWE accredited Master’s of Social Work Program and a leader in MSW graduate education in New England and surrounding areas, is conducting a national search and is accepting nominations for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor for its MSW Weekend Program in Worcester, MA. The Springfield College School of Social Work offers a traditional full-time, two-year Weekday Program in Springfield and a part-time, three-year Weekend Program, responsive to the needs of working students that is offered in both Springfield and Worcester. The School of Social Work offers a single concentration in Advanced Generalist Practice.

Position Qualifications:
| The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in social work or a related field from a regionally accredited institution, a master of social work degree from a CSWE accredited program and experience in the field, demonstrated excellence in social work teaching with traditional, non-traditional and diverse student populations, previous experience in field practicum supervision, and a strong commitment to scholarly and service activities.
The School of Social Work is specifically seeking a candidate with expertise in Advanced Generalist practice who can teach courses across the MSW curriculum in the Worcester, MA Weekend Program, specifically for weekend classes offered at Saint Vincent Hospital (SVH). The weekend teaching is for seven weekends per semester. Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with central MA agencies. This is a nine-month position with optional teaching assignments during the summer term. The successful candidate will be based in Springfield, MA at the School of Social Work which is located at the Springfield College Brennan Center.
