| Assistant Professor - Nutritional Sciences

Position Description:
| Springfield College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Nutritional Sciences. This is a nine-month, tenure track position. Responsibilities include: teaching courses in the new undergraduate Nutritional Sciences Major; student academic and career advisement; and scholarly and service activities. The successful applicant will work with the Nutritional Sciences Program Director in supporting the development of the Nutritional Science program and undergraduate and graduate student research.

Position Qualifications:
| The successful applicant will have an earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in the Nutritional Sciences or related field. Experience teaching at the college level and a strong and active interest and record in nutritional research are required. Individuals who have experience in community nutrition or the food industry and/or are a Registered Dietician are desired. Applicants with experience working with underserved populations are strongly encouraged to apply.
