Manhattan.has been upgraded to a new version: 3.1
This upgrade provides integration of Manhattan with the registrars data. This allows instructors to request Manhattan classrooms on-line and requests will processed automatically several times daily.
For classes that use Manhattan , students will be automatically added to Manhattan classrooms when they enroll at the registrars office. This synchronization process will also happen several times daily. So, a student who just enrolled, will have access to Manhattan within 12 hours. Instructors will be notified every time a student enrolls or drops their class.
Note, there is a new class locking feature. This feature provides instructors with some private time to develop and post course materials. By default, all new requested classrooms are locked. If the instructor has not yet "unlocked: a class, students will see the class listed with the image of a lock next to it. They will not be allowed to enter the class until the instructor unlocks it.
