Denchi Takeuche Scrapbook

Denchi Takeuche, Springfield College Class of 1924, was originally from the Hawaiian Islands and graduated from Mills High School in Honolulu in 1914. He attended Springfield College and the MassachusettsAgricultural College at Amherst in 1922 and 1923. He was a member of the American Red Cross life saving corps and of the Weidensall literary society. He was also part of the Cosmopolitan club, the varsity soccer squad from 1921-1923, and the varsity baseball squad from 1921-1924. He played soccer and baseball and was a student instructor for both.

His scrapbook contains materials from his time at Springfield College, 1921-1924. Materials include photographs of the college sports teams, family, friends and the buildings and places that he visited during this time; his varsity certificates in baseball and soccer; flyers, postcards, brochures, and general memorabilia from Springfield College; and correspondence.
