It is the mission of the Office of Human Resources to support the overall mission of Springfield College to educate students in spirit, mind, and body for leadership in service to humanity.

To that end, the Human Resources staff strives to serve the current and potential College community by providing ethical, efficient, consistent, and professional customer-responsive service based on a sound program of administrative support.


The office is responsible for developing and implementing diverse human resource management policies and procedures in all aspects of employment for all non-faculty employees.

These areas include but are not limited to employment, classification and compensation, employee relations, training and development, and record-keeping.

The benefits program and payroll for Springfield College are also administered through the Office of Human Resources.

The Office of Human Resources staff is available to provide assistance with the interpretation of any human resource management policy or procedure and to provide informal counseling services on job-related issues and concerns.
