Springfield College Played Host to Special Olympics Volleyball Tournament
April 20, 2012SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Springfield College played host to the Special Olympics volleyball tournament on April 22, 2012, at Blake Arena. Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Springfield College Sport Management and Recreation Department partnered to put on the tournament with teams from across Massachusetts participating in the tournament.
April is an exciting month for volleyball at Springfield College. The inaugural NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Championships will take place the following weekend, April 27-29, at Blake Arena. Springfield College is the number one seed.
