William Simpson Fine Arts Series Offers Visual and Performing Arts Programs Open to Public
January 12, 2012SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Jan. 12, 2012 -- The winter/spring lineup of visual and performing arts events at Springfield College will feature a performance of “Middletown,” the moving and funny new play by acclaimed young playwright Will Eno; readings by Pulitzer Prize finalist Linda Hogan, writer in residence for the Chickasaw Nation; a screening of the film “Moneyball,” with introduction by sportswriter Marty Dobrow; art exhibitions by major local and student artists and a spring concert. The events, most of which are free of charge, are part of the William Simpson Fine Arts Series. The free series poster is available by calling 748-3187.
