Thank you for your interest in Springfield College!
The First-Year Experience program at Springfield College is designed to help students transition successfully from high school to college, and to help them become engaged and active members of the Springfield College community. SOAR provides an opportunity to ensure that students are on the path to academic success, by assisting them with selecting the right courses for their programs of study. New Student Orientation (NSO) and Pre-Camp provide unique and exciting opportunities for students to become familiar with not only the campus, but one another. Other programming includes Cultural Connections, which is aimed at helping students to develop a greater appreciation for individual differences. From day one at Springfield College, students are provided with all of the support and resources they need to help them make an efficient and positive transition to college life.Summer Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR)

Move In Day
|
The start of a new academic year is always an exciting time at Springfield College. One of the highlights of this time of year is when the campus community welcomes the new first-year students, as well as transfer students, to Springfield College. On move-in day, the energy and enthusiasm are palpable. Faculty, staff, and current students join together to greet and lend a hand to new students and their families. It’s hard not to feel an overwhelming sense of “pride” when walking around the campus on move-in day. |
