Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does computer come with Microsoft Office?
A. No - when you purchase a Springfield College recommended Dell laptop it will not come with AntiVirus or Microsoft Office pre-installed.
Dell website via the ePortal provides the option of including an academic version of Offfice. While this is a convenient option (you usually receive the software with the machine) the cost is higher than that of purchasing a license and media through our Microsoft Student Select Program.
To take advantage of this program, all you need to do is visit: JourneyEd.com/select
After ordering, you will be prompted to submit, via fax or email, proof of your academic status with our school. This would include any document that has your name associated with our school (report card, ID card, tuition statement, etc.). Click Here For More Information
