Springfield College: In Spirit, Mind, and Body
Springfield College 125th History Book Available
"Springfield College: In Spirit, Mind, and Body" is now available for purchase. The hardcover, 308-page book, which features notes and scenes from our first 125 years, 1885-2010, chronicles the history of Springfield College through the perspective of its presidents, detailing the growth of the College, its significant achievements, and notable individuals.
The 2010 edition of the book updates "The Springfield College Family Album: Notes and Scenes from Our First Century," written in 1984 by the late Richard C. Garvey on the 100th anniversary of the College. The new edition, written by Ron Ziemba, includes updated and revised text for the College’s first 100 years, as well as new chapters and photographs that capture the College’s past 25 years. Included are accounts of the presidencies of Frank Falcone (1985-1991), Randolph W. "Bill" Bromery (1992-1998), and Richard B. Flynn (1999-present).
The book is available for $29.95 at the Springfield College Bookstore in the Richard B. Flynn Campus Union, or online at www.spfld.bkstr.com
