Dr. Vincent L. Gott is a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine and is currently Professor of Surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He served as chief resident at the first heart transplant performed in the United States. Among is many professional affiliations, he serves as a member of the American Board of Surgeons and the American Board of Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Gott is also a member of the American College of Surgeons, Halsted Society, American Surgeons Association, and the Society of University Surgeons.
