Triangle2 Partners located in Palatine, Illinois, has pledged $60,000 to Springfield College to fund the Triangle2 Partners Scholarship Fund, which will support students with a demonstrated financial need.
Recipients for this scholarship will be selected annually in memory of a current or former YMCA staff member with the discretion of the Triangle2 Partners. Preference will be given to under-represented students minoring in YMCA studies. The first award of $2,500 will be given in July to a member of the class of 2011. The recipients of this fund must serve at least two years in a professional way at a local YMCA when they graduate. Of the $60,000 gift, $10,000 has already been received, and the remainder will be paid in installments and added to the endowment fund for scholarships for the future. At the end of the six-year pledge, it is the hope that income from the fund will support the scholarship on an annual basis. Updated: 02/12/2007 |
