Dr. Bernard Graney, Professor of the Rehabilitation and Disability Studies Department, has given an invited presentation on "The Founding of Residential Schools for Persons of Limited Intellect in North America, with special emphasis on the role of Hervey Backus Wilbur" on Friday April 21st at Syracuse University. Dr. Graney not only has studied with a number of the original educators and leaders in the national de-institutionalization/community integration movement, but has also provided much leadership, community service and expertise in this region for many years. This invited presentation recognizes his scholarship, good works and expertise in this area.
