"Springfield College changed my life! When I first enrolled in the School of Human Services at Springfield College's Tampa Bay Campus in 1998, I had over 20 years of relevant experience with nonprofit organizations---primarily with youth-serving agencies. What I did not have was a degree, and therefore, was not promotable in my career.

Soon after enrolling in the undergraduate program at Springfield College, I discovered a thirst for learning. I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from Springfield College. Aside from satisfying my own desire to learn, the higher levels of education provided me with more career opportunities. Shortly after earning my master's degree, I was offered a leadership position with The First Tee, a division of the World Golf Foundation."

Springfield College changed my life...None of this would have been possible without the advanced education I received at the School of Human Services, or without the inspiration and guidance I received from so many individuals at the school.
The First Tee provides learning facilities and educational programs for young people that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. As the director of the organization's Southeast Regional Affairs, Cooper's role is to manage and develop local relationships in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. He has oversight of The First Tee activities in 32 communities and 28 school districts throughout these five states.

"None of this would have been possible without the advanced education I experienced at the School of Human Services, or without the inspiration and guidance I received from so many individuals at the School. In addition to being an alumnus, I am also proud of my position as an adjunct faculty member and my role as chairperson for the campus's community Advisory Board."
