Women's Lacrosse Rolls Past Western Conn., 16-2
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – April 17, 2003 – Springfield College freshman forward
Erin Looney (West Springfield, Mass.) scored four goals while senior captain
Lindsay Reiniger (Rochester, N.Y.)added five assists as the Pride defeated Western Connecticut, 16-2, this evening on Benedum Field.
The Pride (7-5) jumped out to a 10-1 halftime lead and never looked back as eight Springfield players registered at least one goal.

Brooke Newman (Coram, N.Y.) was credited with two goals and two assists while freshman forward
Holly Carmody (Wayland, Mass.) added two goals and an assist for SC.

Melissa Perry (Danbury, Conn.) registered 11 saves for Western Connecticut (2-8).

Kristen Mullady ‘00, enters her fourth season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield College. A former standout for Springfield’s women’s lacrosse team, Mullady led Springfield to the NEWMAC Championship in 2012.
