Women's Lacrosse, Softball Earn ECAC Bids
, May 5, 2003 – Springfield College is the number-one seed in the eight-team ECAC Division III New England Softball Tournament, which begins on Wednesday, May 7.
The Pride (30-10) hosts eighth-seed Suffolk on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Potter Field. If SC advances, it will host the semifinals and championship on Saturday-Sunday, May 10-11. Times will be announced later in the week.
The SC women’s lacrosse team earned the second seed in the eight-team ECAC Division III Women’s Lacrosse Tournament, which also begins Wednesday.
SC (10-6) faces Keene State (9-7), which is the seventh seed, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Benedum Field. If the Pride advances, it will host the winner of Eastern Connecticut-Curry on Saturday at 1 p.m. The championship will be on Sunday at 12 p.m. at a site to be determined.
Tickets for all ECAC Tournamen games cost $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for all students.
