



Efland set a personal best on the floor exercise with a second place score of 9.600, and also had a fourth place finish on the parallel bars with a score of 8.950. Gifford had a personal best on the vault with a 9.100, and also had a mark of 8.875 on the parallel bars. Cronin scored an 8.900 on the balance beam.
Junior Jackie Mazzola (Framingham, Mass.) and sophomore Brittany Davis (Shelby, N.C.) tied for first on the vault with a 9.575. That was also a personal best for Davis. Also setting a personal best was sophomore Kayleigh Davis (Whitefield, N.H.) as she took first place on the floor exercise with a 9.700.
Junior Jenna Wiliams (Townsend, Mass.) won the uneven parallel bars for the Pride with a score of 9.375.
The All-Around competition was won by sophomore Alexandra Ploenes (Medina, Ohio) with a score of 36.550, which held off MIT’s Sarah Trowbridge who finished with a 36.225. Ploenes finished second on the balance beam (9.275) and tied for fourth on the floor exercise (9.525). Trowbridge was MIT's lone first place finisher in the balance beam with a 9.425.
The Springfield College women’s gymnastics team will next head to Bridgeport on March 7th which will be their final meet before they host the ECAC Division III Championships in Blake Arena on Saturday, March 15th.
