Women's Lacrosse Falls To Eastern Connecticut, 15-8
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 10, 2003- Springfield College sophomore
Erin Looney (West Springfield, Mass.) scored four goals, including three in the first half, but the Pride fell to Eastern Connecticut State University this afternoon, 15-8, in the semifinals of the ECAC Division III New England Women’s Lacrosse Championship at Benedum Field.
Eastern Connecticut sophomore Mo Deegan scored a team-high, five goals for the Warriors in the win. Eastern sophomore Sharon Kilpatrick also contributed with four goals in the contest.
SC freshman
Holly Carmody (Wayland, Mass.) added two goals for the Pride, all coming in the second half, and Springfield senior goalkeeper
Emily Boosahda (Bass River, Maine) saved ten shots in the loss.
