



Springfield won all three doubles matches by a score of no worse than 8-4. Five of the six singles matches then went straight sets. The only match to go beyond the minimum was at No. 4, where sophomore Trevor Romanzi (Bayshore, N.Y.) defeated Socheata Ly, 6-2, 3-6, (10-6). The last set was played in a super tiebreaker.

Toby Coffin G’01, enters his second year as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College. Coffin, who has coached at numerous high schools in the area, will look to build a program which will contend for a conference crown.
