Erin Greenstein: Women's Soccer

Erin Greenstein
Erin Greenstein has been selected as the Springfield College Female Maroon Club Athlete of the Week after helping the women's soccer team win the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship this past weekend.

A native of Framingham, Mass., Greenstein was sensational between the pipes for the Pride as it defeated Babson and advanced past Wheaton in penalty kicks. In the semifinal win over Babson, Greenstein needed to make one save to earn her ninth shutout of the season.

Against Wheaton, the Occupational Therapy/Psychology double major came up huge in the penalty kick shootout. After a tremendous save on Wheaton's second kicker, Greenstein stepped up to the line and blasted in a goal herself. She later sealed the victory with a sprawling save on Wheaton's kicker to lead the Pride to its third-straight trip to the NCAA Championship.
