The Cranston, R.I. native has been a key part of the Springfield College men's basketball team both offensively and defensively this season. In the win over Wheaton, the junior had 16 points, four rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes of action, hitting two three-pointers in the final 10 seconds of the game to pace the Pride.
In a critical 59-51 win over MIT earlier in the week, Sienkiewicz's defensive skills were on display as he held the Engineers' top offensive threat, Justin Pedley, scoreless. Pedley had scored 27 points in the first match up between the two schools.
On Wednesday, the Pride will host Babson at 7:30 p.m. in another crucial NEWMAC match up.
