The Millbury, Mass. native helped the Pride hoist the Naismith Classic trophy for the first time since 2010 with an 80-66 win over Bridgewater State in the title game. Swenson netted a career-high 20 points in the win on 7-of-10 shooting to go along with a game-high 12 rebounds. He was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
In the tournament's opening round, Swenson led the Pride to an 84-77 win over Lyndon State. The senior nearly had a double-double before heading to the locker room at halftime, finishing the game with an impressive 16 point, 10 rebound performance.
