The first-year from Lee, Mass. went unbeaten in at No. 1 singles this week, beating Wisconsin Eau-Claire's Ryan Vande Linde (0-6, 6-4, 10-6), Goucher's Seth Hoesman (6-2, 3-6, 6-4) and Scranton's David Teres (2-6, 6-4, 11-9).
The Sport Management major also notched two wins at No. 1 doubles, with partner Joe Giannelli, beating Goucher, 8-5 and St. Louis College of Pharmacy, 8-0.
Up next, Springfield will be on the road at Rhode Island College on Wednesday for a 3:30 p.m. start.
