Pancoast Places 11th in the 3-Meter Board at the NCAA's
Indianapolis, Ind. -- March 21, 2012
-- Kenny Pancoast
of the Springfield College men's diving team finished 11th tonight in the 3-meter board at the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving competition at the Indiana University Natatorium. Pancoast scored 444.95 points, placing him third in the consolation finals, earning him All-America honors.
A physical education major, Pancoast is a junior from Monroe, Conn. His 11th-place finish allowed Springfield to score six team points.
Phil Devine of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh won the event with a score of 542.65 points.
Pancoast had scored 422.25 points in the 3-meter prelims, held earlier in the day.
This is Pancoast's second trip to the nationals, but his first All-America honor.
Pancoast will be competing in the 1-meter board on Friday.
