Springfield, Mass. - October 4, 2012 - The Springfield College women's tennis team was scheduled to take on Rhode Island College in a non-conference matchup on Thursday afternoon. However, the contest has been cancelled due to rain in the forecast and will not be made up.The Pride will now prepare for an important New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) battle against Babson on Saturday afternoon. Springfield will host the conference clash beginning at 1:00 pm.
Toby Coffin G’01, enters his second year as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College. Coffin, who has coached at numerous high schools in the area, will look to build a program which will contend for a conference crown.
