



Springfield, Mass. -- April 1, 2012 -- Kyle Mersereau and Ben Burnap combined for a win at No. 2 doubles, but that was all the Springfield College men's tennis team could muster in an 8-1 loss to Connecticut College this afternoon in a match played at the Appleton Courts and the SC Field House.Conn. College upped its record to 5-3. Springfield fell to 4-8 with the loss.

Toby Coffin G’01, enters his third year as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College. Coffin, who has coached at numerous high schools in the area, will look to build a program which will contend for a conference crown.
