Men's Track and Field Competes at ECAC Championships

Anthony Salvucci New York, N.Y. - March 2, 2013 - The Springfield College men's track and field team competed in the ECAC Division III Championships on Saturday at the New Balance Armory in New York City. Among the 51 squads competing, the Pride finished 21st with a total of 14 points.

John Dayton led the way for the Pride placing second in the weight throw with a distance of 58-10.25.

Anthony Salvucci placed third in the 3000 meter run after recording a time of 8:33.34. The Pride's other top finisher was Sean Nunan, who placed 13th in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:07.31.
