



Complete ResultsDartmouth, Mass. - September 20, 2008: The Springfield College men's cross country team finished 10th on Saturday afternoon in the Dartmouth Invitational as Mike Griffin (Scarborough, Maine) returned back to the squad with an impressive showing.
Out of the 38 teams running in the event, Springfield recorded an overall finish of 10th place with 287 points. Keene State won the race, while Coast Guard, MIT, Amherst, and Trinity rounded out the top five.
Griffin crossed the finish line in seventh place with a time of 25:16.7 and was closely followed by Brian Fuller (Ludlow, Mass.) who finished in ninth place for the Pride in a time of 25:18.9.
Kyle Moriarty (North Kingston, R.I.) was next to cross the line for Springfield in 78th place with a time of 26:45, and teammate TJ Potenza (Cranston, R.I.) finished next for the pride in 95th with a time of 27:12.
The Pride return to action next Saturday when it runs at the Purple Valley Classic hosted at Williams College.

Bryan Brown will enter his second season as the head men's cross country coach in the fall of 2012. Brown, who was a former All-American at Springfield College in track, led Springfield to a second-place finish at the NEWMAC Championships a year ago .
