



Watch Routine Videos and Interviews by GymnastikeNew Haven, Conn. -- February 11, 2012 -- The Springfield College women's gymnastics team finished third of four squads competing this afternoon at a meet hosted by Yale University. Junior All-American Brittany Baglow (Amherst, Mass.) posted SC's top all-around score with a tally of 37.175.
Team scores were as follows: Bridgeport 193.075, Yale 190.400, Springfield 185.625, and Rhode Island College 170.700.
The following were team bests for SC on the day.
Besides Baglow's all-around score, she also had team-bests in the floor exercise (9.750) and the vault (9.525).
With the best SC score in the bars was freshman Nicole Caradonna (Lynnfield, Mass.) (9.350), and in the beam was senior Kristina Lantos (Norton, Mass.) (9.425).
Other good SC scores included Baglow on the beam (9.375), senior Carly Flynn (Franklin, Mass.) on the vault (9.550), and freshman Lauren Pocius (Wallingford, Conn.) on the bars (9.300) and the vault (9.375).



Cheryl Raymond, who will be entering her 34th year as the women's gymnastics coach and assistant professor of physical education at Springfield College in 2013-2014, is one of the top college coaches in the region. Read more.
