Springfield, Mass. - February 27, 2013 - The Springfield College Athletics Department is expecting a large turnout for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship First Round game between Springfield and Ithaca on Saturday night. There will be several opportunities for students on campus to buy tickets prior to the event.Springfield College fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at the Flynn Campus Union near Dunkin Donuts on Thursday and Friday. Springfield College students may purchase one ticket at a discounted rate of $2 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm each day.
In addition, regular priced tickets of $6 for adults, and $3 for students, seniors, and children can be purchased, with no restriction on amount as well.
On Saturday, remaining tickets will be available at the door beginning at 6:00 pm.
Charlie Brock in 2012-13 will enter his 15th season as the head coach at Springfield College and his 33rd season as a head coach overall. Brock’s achievements as a coach are certainly impressive. He has taken three schools to the NCAA Division III Tournament and has an overall, 32-year record of 440-397. Read more.
