



Complete ResultsNorthampton, Mass. - November 8, 2008 The Springfield College women's and swimming diving team picked up a 158-126 win over conference-foe Smith on Saturday afternoon at Smith College.
The Pride had several outstanding performances in the meet, as multiple swimmers swam in different events than they are accustomed to.
Springfield posted a win in the 200 medley relay as Kacie Singleton, Kelly Kopac, Kallie Pottle, and Jaclyn Van Waalwijk touched in 1:58.86. Elizabeth Belmont won the 1000 free in 11:29.29, before Kaitlin Reilly claimed first in the 200 free in 2:04.08.
The Pride's Megan Cooney touched first in the 100 breast in 1:14.57 and the 200 breast in 2:36.88. Van Waalwijk won the 100 free in 56.72, while Pottle picked up a win in the 500 free in 5:32.40.
In the diving events, Michelle Reggio won the one-meter with a score of 239.05, while although exhibitioned, Meghan Kijanka posted the highest score on the three-meter with a mark of 237.55.
Brianne Lemoine also swam the fastest time in the 200 IM with a 2:24.60. The team of Reilly, Kopac, Caroline Kosciusko and Van Waalwijk finished first in the 200 free relay in 1:43.09.
