



Complete ResultsOneonta, N.Y. - January 5, 2013 - The Springfield College men's swimming and diving team defeated Union and lost to Hartwick in a tri-meet on Saturday afternoon. The Pride picked up a 147-96 victory against Union, while being edged by host Hartwick, 128-113.
In the 200 IM, Michael Normoyle edged the competition to post a winning time of 2:02.44. He later won the 200 breast with a 2:13.02.
Nolan Manley was third in the 200 free in 1:49.28, and Travis Morse was second in the 200 back after touching in 2:03.15. Jason Scotto was runner up in the 50 free after registering a 22.38 and took second in the 100 free in 48.47.
On the one-meter board, Jack Lewis posted a winning and national qualifying score of 282.55. Teammate Kenny Pancoast also qualified for nationals as he placed second in 278.75. Lewis also won on the three-meter with another national-qualifying score of 281.05.
Springfield wrapped up the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay as Scotto, Hayden Cassidy, Scott Peters, and Manley recorded a time of 3:17.82.
The Pride will compete again on Saturday against NYU at home.
