Gaudreault Leads Women's Cross Country at Ramapo Invitational

Gabby Gaudreault Complete Results

Woodland Park, N.J. - September 14, 2013 - Senior Gabby Gaudreault (Leominster, Mass.) placed 10th out of nearly 200 runners to help lead the Springfield College women's cross country team to a seventh-place finish at the Ramapo Invitational on Saturday.

As a team, the Pride finished 7th out of 17 teams with 197 points. Vassar won the competition with 47 total points, followed by TCNJ (48), Rowan (81), NYU (125), and Stevens (132).

Gaudreault, who is currently living in New Jersey working at her internship, ran with the Pride for the first time this season and clocked in at 24:42.2 to take 10th overall. Teammate Abby Wright (Pittsfield, Mass.) ran a 26:39.4 to taken 42nd and was closely followed in 44th by J'aime Giaccone (Enfield, Conn.), who crossed in 26:57.1.

Jenn Kapinos (Feeding Hills, Mass.) finished 50th in 27:57.5, with Sarah Knop (Eastham, Mass.), finishing right behind her in 27:58.8.

Next Saturday, the Pride will run in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
