Lynch Selected as Pilgrim Player of the Week Springfield, Mass. - April 8, 2013 - Springfield College junior Ryon Lynch was selected as the Pilgrim League Player of the Week after he led the Pride to a pair of league victories last week.

In two games, the Frederick, Md. native racked up 14 points off nine goals and five assists.

Lynch opened the week with a three-goal, two-assist performance in a 26-3 victory at Regis. Lynch followed that with a sensational offensive showing in the Pride's 22-7 win over MIT on Saturday. Not only did he register nine points on six goals and three assists, but he added three ground balls and caused three turnovers.

The junior attackman currently leads the team with 52 points, as he has tallied 24 goals and 28 assists this year. As of Monday, he ranked ninth in the country in points per game (5.2) is tied for ninth in assists per game (2.8), and also ranks ninth nationally in shooting percentage (.545).
