



Watch Gymnastike's Complete CoverageNew Haven, Conn. - February 13, 2010 - Ericca Castagna placed third in both the vault and floor exercise, however Yale University was too strong on the day as it toppled the Springfield College women's gymnastics team, 188.925-183.00 on Saturday afternoon.
Castagna had a strong day as she took third in the vault with a 9.475 and third on the floor with a 9.575. Senior classmate Audrey Lastra had the highest finish for Springfield on the day as she continued to excel on the balance beam with a second-place score of 9.700.
Jeanna Bradle took fourth in the vault with a mark of 9.425, while Marissa Rusin placed fifth on the uneven bars after scoring a 9.150. Behind Castagna on the floor was Christina Pagella, who finished fourth (9.475) and Brittany Baglow's fifth-place score of 9.450.
Baglow also took fifth in the all-around after scoring a 35.850.
Springfield will return to action on Sunday, February 21 when it hosts Southern Connecticut at 5:00 pm.
