Springfield, Mass. - June 5, 2012 - Springfield College women's lacrosse assistant coach Allie Duclos will be traveling with USA Athletes International to Germany and the Czech Republic from June 5-13, coaching some of the top college lacrosse players from the United States. The German and Czech Republic Lacrosse partnerships have selected USA Athletes International as the sponsoring organization to represent the United States in the 2012 Berlin Open- Prague Lacrosse Tour. This trip through Berlin, Germany and Prague, Czech Republic serves two purposes. Not only does it expoes the rest of the world to some competitive lacrosse, but it provides the student-athletes the chance to go abroad playing lacrosse.
The team will be comprised of a mix of players from all colleges all across the country. "I'm very excited to travel to several different countries to coach such a high caliber of athletes," said Duclos. While playing at the University of New Hampshire, I traveled with this program as a sophomore to Berlin and Prague and as a senior to Australia and had a wonderful experience."
Kristen Mullady ‘00, enters her fiffth season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield College. A former standout for Springfield’s women’s lacrosse team, Mullady led Springfield to back to back NEWMAC titles in 2012 and 2013. Read more.
