



Complete ResultsSpringfield, Mass. - November 17, 2012 - The Springfield College women's swimming and diving team hosted a tri-meet with Keene State and Wheaton on Saturday afternoon. The Pride bested Wheaton 247-44 and fell to Keene State, 181-119.
The 200 yard medley relay team of Kelsey Poole, Nicolle Stracqualursi, Molly Potter, and Mary Masayda were able to place second for Springfield in the first event of the day with a time of 1:49.90. Ashleigh Monroe was then able to place second for SC in the women 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:05.73.
Springfield freshman Callie Phillips was then able to take the women’s 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.76.
Springfield took first, second and third in the women’s one meter diving as Paige Rhodes, Jennifer Thompson, and Melanie Avdoulos finished with scores of 236.65, 236.25, and 232.20, respectively.
Poole then won the women’s 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.73 for the women’s team. In the three-meter diving event, Thompson won with a national-qualifying score of 294.55, followed by Rhodes (260.55), and Kyra Breitweister (216.75).
Callie Phillips also won the 200 yard IM for Springfield with a time of 2:14.28.
