



Tumble for Teal Flyer (.pdf)Springfield, Mass. - December 18, 2012 - For the third-straight year, the Springfield College women's gymnastics team will be holding its "Tumble for Teal" meet, geared at raising awareness for gynecological cancers.
This year's event will take place on Sunday, January 13 when the Pride take on both Southern Connecticut State and Rhode Island College at 1:00 pm.
All donations made during the meet will be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Team Maureen, a group founded in memory of SC gymnast Maureen Duffey ’91. For more information about Team Maureen visit www.teammaureen.org
Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the day as gift baskets will be raffled off during the meet. In addition, the Springfield College women's gymnastics team will be wearing teal leotards for the meet.
After the competition, gymnastics alumnae are encouraged to attend a reception in the Physical Education Complex classroom.



Cheryl Raymond, who will be entering her 33rd year as women's gymnastics coach and assistant professor of physical education at Springfield College in 2012-2013, is one of the top college coaches in the region. Read more.
