



Complete ResultsSpringfield, Mass. -- February 21, 2010 -- The Southern Connecticut State University women's gymnastics team, led by All-Around winner Justine Basley, excelled tonight by scoring 188.050 points in a three-way meet at Springfield College's Blake Arena. The host Pride finished second with a score of 182.975, followed by MIT at 163.750.
Basley, whose winning All-Around score was 37.550, is a junior from Danielson, Conn. Finishng second in the All-Around was MIT's Zara Karuman (37.025). And placing third in the All-Around was Springfield College freshman Brittany Baglow (Amherst, Mass.) at 36.825.
The top individual score of the night was produced by SC senior Ericca Castagna (Topsfield, Mass.) with her outstanding 9.800 as she won the floor exercise. Another local product, junior Christina Pagella (Westfield, Mass.) had a great night, finishing second in the vault (9.600) and tied for third in the floor exercise (9.725).
