The Rangers connected on four three-pointers to gain a 12-8 advantage just over five minutes into the game following a trifecta by Lexie Forsell (West Windsor, N.J.). The visitors lead would grow to as much as six after Stephens knocked down one of two from the charity stripe with 6:14 remaining, making it a 21-15 contest.

The Pride responded with a 7-2 surge, with Tribble putting back her own miss to get Springfield within one at the 3:45 mark. The teams would trade buckets before an Adamopoulos free throw and Tribble putback at the buzzer sent the teams into the half knotted at 27 all.

The second half belonged to the Pride as it shot 63% from the floor, connecting on 19 of its 30 field goal attempts . The hosts stormed out of the gates by netting the first eight points of the stanza, using barrage of jump shots to seize a 35-27 advantage.

Wilson did everything she could to keep things close for the visitors, scoring the game's next four points to make it a four-point game with 15:14 left in regulation. From there on, it was all Springfield as the Pride produced a 27-11 run over the next 10:28 to open up a 20-point lead following a beautiful inside feed to Tribble from Bickelhaupt.

The Pride would lead by as many as 21, on a Danielle Racette (North Adams, Mass.) pull up jumper with the shot clock winding down at the 3:38 mark. Racette gave the Pride terrific minutes off the bench, dishing out four helpers in 17 minutes of action.

Up next for Springfield will be a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contest on Saturday afternoon when hosts Clark at 1:00 pm.
