



Complete ResultsSpringfield, Mass. - December 8, 2012 - The Springfield College women's swimming and diving team captured the 200 free relay to lock up an exciting 153-147 dual-meet victory over visiting Middlebury College on Saturday afternoon in Linkletter Natatorium.
Callie Phillips, Amanda Shaw, Mary Masayda, and Kellie Pennington combined to swim a winning time of 1:38.29 in the 200 free relay to secure the meet for Springfield.
Ashleigh Monroe won the 1,000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:58.24, while Nicolle Stracqualursi took first in the 100 yard breast stroke with a time of 1:10.93.
In the 100 free, Pennington swam a winning time of 53.50, followed by Phillips' second-place time of 54.84. Kelsey Poole touched first in the 100 back in 1:01.92, while Phillips was victorious in the 500 free in 5:18.05.
In the diving events, Jennifer Thompson continued to dominate with a pair of national-qualifying marks. On the one-meter, Thompson won with a mark of 280.72, before taking the three-meter with a 290.77.
Springfield will return to action on January 5th when it hits the road for a tri-meet with Union and Hartwick.
