



Complete ResultsSpringfield, Mass. – November 15, 2008 – The Springfield College women’s swimming and diving team suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of the University of Rhode Island, 156.5-143.5, on Saturday afternoon in the Art Linkletter Natatorium.
The meet started with an impressive victory in the 200 medley relay as teammates Kallie Pottle (Brewer, Maine), Moira Price (Berkley Heights, N.J.), Kaitlyn Reilly (Cumberland, R.I.), and Jaclyn Van Waalwijk (Newton, Conn.) combined for a victory with a time of 1:51.52. Price also picked up a victory in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:07.64) and 200 breaststroke (2:28.19).
In the diving competition Megan Kijanka (Methuen, Mass.) picked up a sweep. In the one-meter competition Kijanka picked up the victory with a score of 252.37 followed closely by teammate
To close out the meet the Pride picked up another relay victory in the 200 freestyle relay. Teammates Reilly, Aimee Doe (Haverhill, Mass.), Van Waalwijk, and Price touched in 1:40.51 for the Pride.
The Pride will return to the pool next Saturday when they travel to Wheaton.
