To join the registry you must be between the ages of 18 and 44 and meet the health guidelines. All that is required on that Thursday is to stop by between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to get your cheek swabbed, and your name will be added to the bone marrow national registry.
The cause has certainly resonated with the team even more within the past few years, as senior wide receiver Phil Baier (Braintree, Mass.) was notified that after being added to the registry two years ago, he was a match and has been cleared to donate marrow. Recently, junior offensive lineman Joe Cianciolo (Watertown, Conn.) proved to be a match and began the donating process.
