



Complete ResultsSchenectady, N.Y. - January 10, 2009 - The Springfield College women's swimming and diving team opened up the 2009 portion of it's season as it cruised past Hartwick and Union on Saturday afternoon.
The Pride topped Union by a score of 151 to 92 and downed Hartwick, 161-82.
Several freshmen had terrific showings for the Pride as they picked up some key individual wins. Meghan Sisson touched first in the 1,000 free in 10:52.02, while Kaitlin Reilly won the 50 free in 25.61 and the 100 free in 55.29. Courtney Keefe won the three-meter diving competition with a 231.75 and took second in the one-meter with a 217.75.
Springfield's Moira Price continued to pile up the wins in her senior season as she won 200 IM in 2:13.13 and the 200 breaststroke in 2:27.22. Price won the 200 breast by over 12 seconds.
Aimee Doe took the 200 free in 2:00.11, while Meredith Trumbull won the 200 fly in 2:16.90
The Pride return to action next Saturday when it will host NYU.
