Men's Indoor Track and Field Competes At Non-Scoring Tufts Stampede

Medford, Mass. - February 7, 2009 - In a non-scoring meet hosted by Tufts University, the Springfield College men's indoor track and field team had several solid performances.

In the 55 meter dash, Matt Amendola crossed the finish line first in 6.638, just edging Jon Lin from Ithaca, who ran a 6.640.

Jeff Bruno took first in the 200 meter dash in a time of 23.19, while Nickel Hay picked up a win in the 400 with a 50.69. Eric Nacsin finished second in the 600 with a time of 1:24.45, while Mike Griffin finished fourth in the 800 in 1:56.34.

The Pride's 4x400 relay team of Matt Krakowski, Kevin Behlmer, Nascin, and Hay also recorded a second-place finish in a time of 3:27.04.
