



Ewing, N.J. - December 4, 2009 - The Springfield College women's diving team competed Friday night in the TCNJ Diving Invitational and had a tremendous night on the boards as Michelle Reggio, Courtney Keefe, Paige Rhodes, and Meghan Kijanka all qualified for nationals in the 11-dive one-meter competition.Senior Michelle Reggio finished in first with a 11-dive one-meter score of 441.8, while also taking first in the six-dive one-meter competition with 252.95 points. Right behind Reggio in the 11-dive one-meter was sophomore Courtney Keefe recording a score of 437.8.
Freshman Paige Rhodes finished in third place in the 11-dive one-meter with 417.05 points, and finished third fourth in the six-dive one-meter with a score of 228.3. Senior Meghan Kijanka scored 408.25 points for a fourth place finish in the 11-dive one-meter while scoring 217 points to finish third in the six-dive one-meter.

John Taffe enters his 24th season in 2012-2013 as the head coach of the men's and women's swimming teams at Springfield College. Under Taffe’s leadership, the Pride has returned to its status as one of the best collegiate swimming and diving programs in Division III.Read more.
