John Cena Returns To Campus To Work Out and Visit With Football Program

Springfield, Mass. - April 12, 2013 - Former Springfield College football All-American and current WWE Superstar John Cena recently returned to campus to work out and visit with the members of the football program.

Cena, who captured the WWE World Championships at WrestleMania last Sunday in front of nearly 80,00 fans at MetLife Stadium, visited campus when he was in town for a show at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield.

In addition to working out in the weight room with the football team, Cena spent some valuable time with student-athletes. Not only did he sign autographs and take individual photos with the players, but he spoke to the group about his experience as a Springfield College football player.

The afternoon was capped off with a memorable freestyle rap competition between junior halfback Bryan MacDonald and Cena, wrapping up an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
